have plenty to say as well. Here for the first time is a comprehensive list of all editorials that I've received over the past year.

My Rant: Glory Days (...of the Charlotte Punk Scene) by Joe Leonard -12/12/08 Joe Leonard isn't in his usual good mood in this rant, which addresses the constant harassment the present day scene gets from certain veterans of the "Old Scene". Read it and watch the fireworks fly!!

Giving Thanks -11/27/08 This piece was put together as our special Thanksgiving weekend edition. It features local music personalities speaking on what they are thankful for on the local scene. Features editiorials by Joe Leonard, Ryan Dead, Jonathan Hughes, Chris Peigler and more!

Home Again by Johnny O -9/12/08 Originally scheduled to be part of the tribute to the Milestone, this essay is a wonderful reflection on whether or not you can really go home again by Johnny O, a regular from the 90's Milestone scene.
Rock On Ghetto Fortress: Reflections on the Milestone - 9/12/08 This piece was put together as a tribute for the Milestone's 4 year anniversary. It features short essays by Chris Peigler, Mike Hell, Joe Leonard and Ryan. It's a great piece and Chris' section is particularly hilarious.

Who Are You? by Josh Robbins - 8/31/08 This is a great introspective essay by Obstruction's Josh Robbins. It ask important questions that at some point we all confront and provides some interesting insight.
A Reason to Care by Joe Leonard - 8/15/08 Here Joe is in rare form, turning in an excellent essay that captures the feeling of going to a great club show and hanging out with your friends. I think this should be required reading for any fan of local music. It's also been featured on World Wide Punks and Tampapunks.com .
A Word on D.I.Y. by Joe Leonard - 3/5/08 Here Joe educates the uninitiated on what it means to be D.I.Y. and why it's important to keep that spirit alive in our increasingly corporate modern world.
Your Rant: Moss of the Dirty South Revolutionaries - 12/26/07 Part 2 of the Your Rant series, Moss of the DSR goes off about the story of his life and why he does what he does. It's a great and honest unflinching look at a member of the local scene who is no stranger to controversy.
Your Rant: Russ "Mad Brother Ward"-12/14/07 The one that started it all. Early on this piece caused all kinds of controversy because of it's subject matter. What else would you expect from Mad Brother Ward? In this piece Ward gives his take on modern punk rock as it relates to the local scene and as you can expect it's pretty volatile. Check it out and form your own opinion!
