Next Week...What to Do in the Queen City....

Another week, more music!! Let's get into with the latest edition of "Next Week"!!

Thursday November Dub is a Weapon comes to the Visulite.  If you like Bum's Lie and haven't checked out Dub is a Weapon you should. Tickets are $8 in advance and $10 at the door. The doors open at 8:00 and the show starts at 8:45.

November 21st the Milestone Club welcomes LA Tool and Dye,  Casper and the Cookies,  Silver Hill Mine and Justin Williams. It's being presented by Vivaindierock.com. It will be a night of quirky, sometimes moody indie rock. In the case of LA Tool and Dye and Casper and the Cookies, expect the tongue to be planted firmly in the cheek. Should be some really interesting music though so if you are in an "indie" mood check it out. Doors at 8:00, show at 9:00.

Snug Harbor is back online this week. They changed the address on their site to www.snugrock.com .  This Saturday they present Bruce Hazel and Some Volunteers with the Houstons. Bruce Hazel and company offer up some fantastic, rock, soul variety and a ton of energy so it should be a fun night!!

Also this weekend there are two shows at the always reliable Lunchbox Records.  First Friday they welcome Drunkdriver w/ Calabi Yau, Grids and Logic Problem. Then on Sunday They welcome Land of Savage, Monarchist and Almighty. If you are in the neighborhood you should definitely check out Lunchbox Records. They constantly book very adventurous shows the likes of which you won't see at most of the local clubs!

That's it for this week. As always be sure to send me your flyers and I'll be happy to talk about your shows. I'm really glad Snug Harbor has their internet issues worked out. We welcome them back, see you next week!
